The 8th hole is a short length par 4 measuring 383 yards from the back tee. This hole doglegs left along a large pond, which may influence a golf shot on the entire golf hole. The length of the golf hole on most days will play a club longer due to the fact that it plays directly into the wind. The tee shot must play over the pond and to the right of the pond, and the 2nd shot with a short to medium iron will play across and also along the pond. The putting surface is well guarded on all sides by water and bunkers. A force carry is needed in order to hit this green because of the well-positioned bunker in the front of the putting surface. This putting surface is medium in size with the most challenging pin placement in the front left portion of the green where a golf shot will have to flirt with the water on the left side of the green.
